Diane Iser is a Seniors Advocate and the Owner of New Day Aging LLC. Diane returned to school mid-life in a quest to pursue her passion for the next chapter of life. That passion is to identify and advocate for the changes that must take place to support healthy aging; to motivate individuals to positively impact society through the continued empowerment of their voice and abilities. Diane embraces the principles that healthy aging involves lifelong opportunities and the pursuit of wellness in both physical and emotional well-being.
Her professional experience includes:
- Case management reviews as Director of Independent Living for a Continuing Care Retirement Community
- Co-facilitator for Stanford University's Chronic Disease Self-Management Program
- Hospital patient advocacy for transitional care
- Extensive federal and state benefits advocacy
- Legislative advocacy impacting older adults
- Outreach and Educational presentations
Possessing sound knowledge and comprehension of psychosocial gerontology issues, Diane brings a strong voice, commitment and compassion for every generation. She inherently understands the balance that must exist between one generation and the next. How effectively meeting the needs of current aging cohorts, will improve the outcome for generations to follow. Diane is a graduate from Northern Illinois University, and presently serves on the Board of Directors for the Palatine Township Senior Citizens Council.
